[PT2021] CU offering COVID shot for students

Hello,

Many clinical partners are now requesting students have the COVID vaccination.  This also impacts their quarantine policy should exposure occur.  The latest newsletter announced that Campbell University will offer students the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine during two upcoming clinics on the main campus in Buies Creek.  The free vaccinations will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 9 in the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center's McCall Court and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 21 in the second-floor ballroom of the Oscar N. Harris Student Union. Students must be at least 18 years old to receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Students already in DPT 802 choosing to get vaccinated should discuss the needed absence with their CI and email me.  The schedule is based on hour blocks, so you should only need at most  3-4 hours absence  to allow for appointment and travel.  This  will be an excused absence.
