[PT2021] PRIDE in Healthcare Interest Meeting

Hi CPHS Students!

PRIDE (Promoting Recognition of Identity for Development and Education) in
Healthcare is having our first general meeting of the year on Wednesday,
September 30th at 6 PM. PRIDE is a student-led organization that aims to
prepare future healthcare professionals to provide the best care for
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) patients, while also
creating a space for LGBTQ students and allies to connect. Throughout the
year, we’ll have discussions and events that cover topics pertinent to
LGBTQ health and well-being. PRIDE is open to anyone who is interested in
learning how to better serve the LGBTQ community as healthcare
professionals- so all sexualities and gender identities are welcome.

Our first meeting will focus on an introduction to PRIDE and a discussion
about plans for the year. It will be held virtually through Blackboard
Collaborate. The link is included below.
