Good morning, incoming Camels,
It's Orientation week! We are so excited to meet you in-person and guide you through this wonderful time of learning the ins-and-outs of the Pharmacy program at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (CPHS)! That being said, here are a few reminders from last week as well as the orientation schedule and advisor list for this week. Please note, that the advisor list will be posted on the doors of the breakout rooms that you see on the orientation schedule. You will be guided to these rooms as well as the other locations on the orientation schedule.
Orientation Check-In/Breakfast begins at 7:30 am and ends at 8:15 am on August 3rd (Day 1) in Maddox Hall<https://map.concept3d.com/?id=714#!m/132671>.

*         Use above link to access maps or use the Campus Map attached to this email.
Orientation Check-In/Breakfast begins at 8:00 am and ends at 9:00 am on August 4th (Day 2) in the Oscar N. Harris Student Union Ballrooms<https://map.concept3d.com/?id=714#!m/509145>.

  *   While the day will begin at the Oscar N. Harris Student Union, it will end at Maddox, so it is recommended that you park in the same lots that are provided in this email for both days.
  *   Use above link to access maps or use the Campus Map attached to this email.
Parking Information:

  *   For parking, feel free to park in either Lot X<https://map.concept3d.com/?id=714#!m/105722> or Lot PB<https://map.concept3d.com/?id=714#!m/105721>

     *   To access maps from your location, once you access the hyperlinks, click the icon with an arrow in it and put your address in when prompted.
     *   Parking will be free, so, if you are currently undergoing issues getting a parking pass, please do not worry about getting one for orientation.
What to Bring/Do:

  *   If you have opted out of receiving a laptop from Campbell, please bring your own personal laptop with you to orientation, as you will be instructed on how to download specific software used for exams throughout the program.

     *   If you opted out of receiving a laptop, please review the Campbell University IT requirements, found here<https://www.campbell.edu/information-technology-services/it-service-desk/technology-purchases/>.

  *   First-year pharmacy (P1) students must have a professional headshot taken wearing business attire and their CPHS white coat. Business attire worn for both days of orientation will suffice, as you will have your headshot taken on Day 1 and will be networking on campus with other programs and CU faculty and staff on Day 2.
  *   If you have not registered for the Lunch With Your Advisor Luncheon on Day 1 or the Networking Breakfast on Day 2, please do not worry about RSVPing, as you have been added to the headcount for both.
What We'll Provide:

  *   Informational Packet (Orientation Schedule, Resource Information, etc.)
  *   Professional Student Name Tag
  *   Student ID
  *   White Coat (if you have registered for one)
  *   Professional Headshots
  *   Breakfast on Day 1 and Day 2
  *   Lunch on Day 1
  *   The best two-day start to your new personal and professional journey ever!
