This email is being sent on behalf of Dr. Moore, Associate Dean of Admissions and Student Affairs.
Congratulations on the completion of a challenging semester and I hope that you are enjoying a well-deserved break from school. I have important information to share with you so please read carefully.

THE WHAT
This correspondence is to make you aware that the Campbell University President's Cabinet has approved of an update to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) immunization policy to include full vaccination for COVID-19 on or before March 31st, 2022.

THE WHY
As you are already aware, in the PharmD program, you must complete an experiential education component in order to complete your program of study. These educational experiences are completed at third-party clinical healthcare sites affiliated with Campbell University. These institutions set requirements (criminal background checks, substance abuse screenings and immunization standards) that must be met in order to be cleared for patient care training experiences. Most of our clinical training partners have included full vaccination for COVID-19.

IMMEDIATE ACTION STEPS REQUIRED:

* Please acknowledge<https://cphs.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_74yTaCfjVoEU46i> that you have read and understand the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy<https://cufind-campbell-edu.proxy.campbell.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1000&context=academic_policies> by January 4, 2022.

* Please have your COVID-19 vaccination record or exemption documentation uploaded and approved to Complio by March 31st, 2022.

Failure to adhere to COVID-19 vaccination requirements and the associated timeframes for completion may prevent you from being eligible to participate in the required clinical training experiences necessary for you to earn your degree.

If you have any questions regarding the COVID-19 Acknowledgement due by January 4, 2022 or the process for uploading the vaccine or documentation/exemption in Complio, please contact: Kaela McCoy at kmccoy at campbell.edu<mailto:kmccoy at campbell.edu>

If you have any questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate or the possible impacts of an exception please contact: Dr. Tina Thornhill at tthornhill at campbell.edu<mailto:tthornhill at campbell.edu>

Best Regards,

Dr. Moore
