As many of you begin your summer positions, I want to remind you that there are several fall externships in Symplicity. The chart below includes positions that are still open. Those that are highlighted have had their deadlines extended. Please don’t miss out on these wonderful opportunities to gain practical experience in a legal setting while also obtaining 2 academic credits. As a reminder, if you are selected for an externship, you must register for the Fall course (either Externship I or Externship II). Also, you cannot complete an externship of the same type (i.e. working at 2 public defender offices, within 2 departments of DOJ, etc.). All documents about externships can be found in the Law School Career Services Blackboard page. As students you are automatically enrolled in this as an ORGANIZATION (not a course). Take a look at that Information tab and then select the Externship folder.
