*October is National Physical Therapy Month*, a time to celebrate the
impact our profession has in improving movement, function, and quality of
life for people of all abilities. This month, let’s go beyond recognition
and take action by advocating for and participating in *inclusion, equity,
and access for everyone*.

As future physical therapists, we play a vital role in ensuring that every
individual, regardless of background, ability, culture, or circumstance has
the opportunity to move, heal, and thrive. National Physical Therapy Month
gives us the perfect opportunity to reflect on how we can make our
classrooms, clinics, and communities more inclusive and welcoming to all.
