Hello Students,
I know you are all in your clinical experiences and probably already thinking ahead to graduation, but I wanted to alert you to an opportunity to be named a National Honor Society student through the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT)

What is it?

  *
The National Physical Therapy Student Honor Society was established by ACAPT to recognize current DPT students who demonstrates excellence, integrity, and professionalism in the following areas: 1) academic achievement 2) leadership 3) service or research, and 4)demonstrate strong moral character, ethics and the core values of the PT profession.
  *
DPT students who apply and are selected receive recognition on the ACAPT website and receive a certificate and lapel pin. This is also a great addition to a resume or curriculum vitae (CV).

What is the process?
I have attached a document on how to apply and where all application materials should be submitted for our program. I am available to answer any questions you may have regarding this process, but the ACAPT website is another helpful resource (National PT Student Honor Society (acapt.org)<https://acapt.org/resources/students/national-student-honor-society>)
Looking forward to seeing you all when you are back on campus!
