Campbell DPT students

As you now are aware, Dr. Sawyer will be leaving our program as of October 7th. He has played an integral role at CU DPT since the program's infancy with numerous important contributions along the way. In addition to his teaching responsibilities Dr. Sawyer has been instrumental in the development of our admissions process that helped all of us come together as the CU DPT family. This ability to foster community will serve him well as he transitions to an exciting opportunity that pairs his clinical, service, and scholarly interests all in one.

Prior to his departure, please consider taking a moment to share a conversation or email with Dr. Sawyer about his impact on your professional journey.

Have a great evening,
Dr. Myers

Subject: Good Afternoon

Hi Everyone,
I want to let everyone know that I have resigned my position in the Department of Physical Therapy here at Campbell University and my last day will be Friday, October 7, 2022.

I have really enjoyed my time here and the DPT program has an exceptional faculty team which I have been proud to be a part of! I am so happy I had a chance to know and work with each of you. You will be successful here at Campbell as well as with licensure. I expect to see many of you practicing in the State of North Carolina!

You are more than welcome to stop by my office when you have a few minutes. I will be presenting an update on exercise guidelines for people with cancer at the APTANC conference coming up on October 14th and 15th. I hope to see many of you there.

Kind Regards,
Dr. Sawyer
