Another week has passed in the spring semester. The DPT1 cohort has started in-person classes while the DPT3s returned to in-person instruction this morning. Both cohorts will proceed with the original course schedule. This week also marks the mid-point for the DPT2 cohort in their first full-time clinical rotation. In three short weeks we will have all three cohorts on campus.

I have an additional piece of good news to share. The faculty are pleased to welcome Dr. Karlyn Green as the newest core faculty member of our department. Dr. K. Green will be joining the department on February 14th and lead the Cardiovascular/Pulmonary and Hospital-Based courses in the program. She received a BS in Exercise Biology from the University of California, Davis and DPT from Mount St. Mary's College. In addition, she is recognized as a Board-Certified Specialist in two areas Cardiovascular and Pulmonary along with Orthopaedics. She has extensive clinical experience in the management of cardiovascular and pulmonary inpatients at Duke University Medical Center and has taught content in this specialty area at four DPT programs.

Have a great weekend!
Dr. Myers
