The email below is sent on behalf of the CPHS Dean's Office

CPHS Faculty, Staff, and Students,

By now you have seen the message from Dr. Creed concerning the two-week pause for the main campus undergraduate students. As noted in the message from Dr. Creed, CPHS graduate and professional programs and staff will continue on the current academic and work plan. The BSN, BSPS and BSCR programs will take part in the two-week pause. This decision was made in consultation with the Health & Safety Committee based on careful study of the data on the localization of the campus-wide positive cases. At this time, CPHS programs have a very low positive and quarantine rate compared to the UG population and the residential community. The evidence at this time does not support a two-week pause for the CPHS graduate and professional programs. I am in regular communication with the Health & Safety Committee and will continue to monitor the spread. If clusters appear, we will pause the effected programs and/or the entire college as the data supports.

The continued safety and health of the entire CPHS community is a significant concern as we continue to deliver the intense health programs that benefit greatly from in-person instruction and practice. Please continue to follow the mitigation guidance both while on campus and away. Recommendations are regularly updated on the Campbell Ready web site (https://www.campbell.edu/coronavirus/campbell-ready/) and the CDC website (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html). The Health & Safety Committee will continue its comprehensive testing and contact tracing protocols<https://www.campbell.edu/coronavirus/campbell-ready/campus-health/protocol-for-positive-cases-exposure-notifications/> to monitor the spread. All members of the CPHS community are also reminded to report all quarantine and testing as outlined below.
1. Call the CU Health Center at 910-893-1532 for instructions about testing and quarantining.
2. Report their quarantine/isolation to the University using this online form: https://cuweb.wufoo.com/forms/r8ivwye13bq8jt/

CPHS buildings will maintain current operations for CPHS graduate and professional students.

Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.
