[PT2021] IPE Event 10/13

 Dear Students:

On October 13th, you will be attending the next event hosted by the Office
of Interprofessional Education – IPE REPS: *Reflect, Engage, Practice, &
Summarize*. Please read the information below to find out more about REPS
and how you will be participating in it.

*About REPS*

This event is designed to improve your understanding of the different
professions on the interprofessional collaborative healthcare team,
especially those represented by our programs in CPHS and CUSOM. Each of the
components of REPS – Reflect + Engage + Practice + Summarize – represents a
component of the event itself; see the graphic below to learn more:




*Attending the Event*

*Who: *All year-1 and year-2 CPHS students* + CUSOM year-2 students
**Except traditionally online students, those in clinical rotations, and
those scheduled for clinical experiences on the afternoon of October 13th.
This includes second-year PA students and Clinical Research students.  *

*Where: *Virtual
*When: *1:00 – 2:00 PM, 2:15 – 3:15 PM, or 3:30 – 4:30 PM

*What: *Independent Learning (Offline) + Group Discussion (Live)
For this event, you will be assigned to an interprofessional small group
along with other students from other programs. Your group will be assigned
to one of three time slots on October 13: 1:00 – 2:00 PM, 2:15 – 3:15 PM,
or 3:30 – 4:30 PM. Part of the event’s time slot is set aside for you to
individually complete the interactive module for *Engage* before proceeding
to participate in your live group discussions.

Below is an example of a student’s schedule for the event:

Before event: Take pre-event *Reflection *survey and review interactive
module for *Engage*

10/13, 1:00 – 1:20: Offline independent learning: *Engage* module

10/13, 1:20 – 1:30: Live large-group session: *Practice + Summarize*

10/13, 1:30 – 2:00: Live small-group session: *Practice + Summarize*

*Preparing for the Event*

1.     You will receive your group assignment email by 5:00 PM on October
8. Please be sure to watch for this email next week. If you don’t receive
your assignment by that time, please let us know at ipe at campbell.edu ASAP. *(We
will not know that you did not receive it if you do not let us know.)*

2.     Carefully review and make note of your group assignment information.
Your group assignment email will include the following items:

·       Pre-event *Reflect *survey

·       Small group assignment & timeslot

·       Small group schedule

·       Access to interactive *Engage* module

·       Log-in information for large-group and small-group meetings

3.     Take the pre-event reflection survey.

4.     Review the interactive module and complete it if time allows before
the event.

5.     Complete the interactive module on October 13 before your live
sessions.

6.     Attend your live sessions on October 13 as assigned.

7.     Enjoy REPS!
