All,

Please see the below. I believe that Kim has already asked for a head count on who was attending this months ago and registration should be complete. If you did not choose this conference as your one conference that the department was paying for and want to attend this, you will need to cover your own expenses. If you have questions regarding the registration please see Kim.

Thank you,
Rachel

Subject: 2020 NCPTA Conclave

Hi Rachel,

My name is Sara Burnett and I am a second year student in HPU’s DPT program. Myself along with another classmate have been helping plan the Conclave and it’s service event for this year, and would love to get this information out, so that everyone is informed! Would you mind sending this to someone who can relay the message to Campbell’s DPT program? Thanks so much!

Hello future DPT’s!

As many of you know, APTA North Carolina Student Conclave is coming up on March 7th from 8:00am - 4:30pm and it is being hosted at High Point University in Congdon Hall! This is a one day conference planned and organized by SPTs from around the state. The conference will cover ‘hot topics’ in the PT world and things that interest us as students including: PT and PTA relationships, Generalist vs Specialist vs Residency practice, Travel PT, mindfulness and de-stressing during school, and SO MUCH MORE!!

Tickets for the event can be found via the link below - breakfast and lunch will be provided to those in attendance, followed by a PT Pub Night at The Brewer’s Kettle on North Main Street in High Point (5 minute drive from campus). PT Pub Night will start at 5:00pm and light appetizers and 1 drink ticket will be provided!

This year's Conclave community service event will focus on donating welcome kits to our local non-profit: World Relief Triad. These welcome kits help empower Triad refugees, immigrants, and survivors of human trafficking with services and support that restore lives and hope! The welcome kits we are focusing on this year are for school supplies and hygiene products. Please check out the flyer below to see what items are needed for each of the kits!
