[Phar29] Thank You for Attending: AMCP GBM + Meeting Notes

Hello future pharmacists!

Thank you to everyone who attended last week’s AMCP General Body Meeting.
We were excited to host Dr. Maggie Reyes, PharmD, MSPH, who shared valuable
insights into her role as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist in managed care
pharmacy with BCBS of NC.

Dr. Reyes provided a great overview of managed care pharmacy, including
career pathways, day-to-day responsibilities, and advice for students
interested in pursuing this field. We appreciate everyone who joined and
contributed to the discussion.

For those who were unable to attend, or for anyone who would like to review
the information, I have attached the meeting notes to this email for your
reference. We hope these notes provide helpful insight into managed care
pharmacy.
