Hello, P2s and P3s!

I hope you’re all enjoying a well-deserved summer break!

You should have received an email from Kameron regarding the *Free
Clinic*—please
refer to that for specific details.

If you’ve never volunteered before, the Mobile Clinics are a rewarding and
hands-on experience. I’ve volunteered at the Duplin site, where we gathered
medication histories, provided patient counseling, and collaborated with DO
and PA students to create care plans. We even presented our recommendations
to the physician—it’s a great way to apply our knowledge and grow through
interprofessional teamwork.

That being said, when signing up, you are responsible for showing up. While
we understand that life happens, we have a strict policy: *if you volunteer
for clinic, you are expected to attend.* Only true emergencies will be
considered acceptable reasons for absence.

As a student-run clinic, we rely on each other to make things run smoothly.
No-shows are not only unprofessional—they also create unnecessary stress
for the team and impact patient care.

   (look for CUCCC vans)

   *Duplin Mobile Clinic:* 636 Whitfield Rd, Mount Olive, NC 28365

   *Transportation:* Provided for Duplin Site— meet at the back of Leon
   Levine Hall at 5:20 PM
   *If you’re driving separately, please mention it in your sign-up
   comments*
