[Pharm27] Summer Free/Clinic Mobile Clinic Sign-ups

Hello, everyone!

I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your summer! The leadership team
at the Campbell University Community Care Clinic (CUCCC) would like to send
out information for volunteering at the Free & Mobile Clinic Schedule for
the rest of the summer. These hours *will *count towards your PPD hours for
the upcoming Fall semester!

*Free Clinic** location has changed* and is now held at *Dunn United
Ministerial Association *(DUMA) *(323 E Broad St Dunn, NC 28334)* and runs
every *Tuesday *night from 5 pm to approximately 10 pm. As a reminder, student
pharmacist volunteers are responsible for *reviewing medication histories
with patients, performing medication reconciliations, counseling patients*,
and working with medical and PA students to formulate a care plan. The
success of the Free Clinic depends on our volunteers, and we hope to see
you soon.

*Free Clinic Volunteer Policy*:
Signing up to volunteer at the Free Clinic is a commitment to the care team
and to the patients. By signing up, the student agrees to fulfill their
volunteer shift. If a student is no longer able to volunteer,* the student *is
responsible for contacting the standby volunteer and contacting the
Free Clinic Co-Directors (Kameron Lee & Emily Sauls) to inform them of the
shift switch. This year, we will be enforcing a "strike system" to
emphasize the importance of following through on a volunteer commitment. If
you fail to confirm your shift switch, that will result in one strike. Three
strikes result in the inability to volunteer at the Campbell University
Community Care Clinic in the future, which could greatly impact your PPD
hours/grade.
