Join us for the 2023 Guatemala Mission Trip!

Pre-trip Retreat for the team (team building, instructions, filling out trip paperwork, etc) - September 15th (6:30 - 9) & 16th (9 - 3) in Fuquay

Dates: September 30 - October 7, 2023

Total Cost: $2750 including airfare (but subject to change if airfare prices go up)
   (Application and 1st Deposit of $800 due as soon as possible - final payments can be made as the student is able until 9/15)

We will be working in the department (state) of Chiquimula. We will hold four clinics: two in mountain villages and in two in the poorer area on the city of Chiquimula. Our last day in country will be spent in the ancient city of Antigua shopping and relaxing. Pharmacist student(s) will run the pharmacy. We will meet on Friday night and Saturday morning, September 15th and 16th, to hold a pre-trip get together to go into the details of the trip.

*This is a great opportunity for true interprofessional learning and service. Students will need to be on top of communicating their absences to faculty in advance and planning to get schoolwork done accordingly.*
