[Phar25] NCAP's Flu-Be-Gone

Hello Camels!

During the week of *October 24– 30th*, NCAP will be participating in our
annual "Flu-Be-Gone". This is a competition between the NC pharmacy
schools to track who reaches the most patients in getting their flu
vaccines. Last year, between Campbell, Wingate, UNC, and High Point,
student pharmacists vaccinated over 2,700 patients. Campbell took the lead
last year with *1,448 *vaccinations! This was a wonderful accomplishment
and a huge service to our community.

you have administered any flu vaccines or counseled patients on receiving
their flu vaccine at work, rotation sites, or other events in the *time
period of 10/24-10/30.*

We would love to see Campbell win once again and positively impact our
community. Please consider participating in the Flu-Be-Gone initiative and
recording your numbers in the form above. As a reminder, if you already
filled out the form once, you are able to fill it out again if you
administer flu shots on a different day.

Lastly, registration for the *NCAP Student Pharmacist Conference and
Residency Showcase *is now open! There will be an informative and engaging
program for P1 - P3 students centered around advocacy, learning how to
promote yourself, and diversity, equity and inclusion. As well as the ever
popular, highly anticipated Residency Showcase for P4 students which will
give those ready to pursue residency a chance to interact with programs all
across our state and surrounding areas. Let’s not forget, Pharmacy
Jeopardy! This exciting competition pits all four pharmacy schools against
one another to see who comes out on top. Come cheer on your team! Co-hosted
by Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences,
Registration is $30. You do NOT have to be a member to attend this event,
it is *open to all pharmacy students*!
