Hi everyone!

In collaboration with CPHS, CUSOM, and APhA-ASP, Campbell University's
PharmD program is putting on a Community Health Fair with the Episcopal
Farmworker Ministry in Dunn, NC. The Health Fair is set for *Saturday,
March 19th, from 10am to 2pm* at the Ministry grounds located at* 2989 Easy
Street, Dunn*. I am recruiting motivated pharmacy student volunteers to
assist in organizing informational hand-outs and participate in patient
counseling.

This is a large-scale and indispensable community resource that CPHS has
not been able to participate in since pre-COVID times. The event is
expecting 300+ patients to participate that day. This is an
excellent opportunity to earn community service hours as well as an
impressive addition to your CV!

Volunteer positions for each table are *limited*, and positions will be
distributed based on a *first-come, first-serve basis!* Please fill out
this form

if
you are interested in helping create flyers and volunteering for a shift.

Description of tables: A licensed pharmacist and translator will be
available if needed.

medication list and counsel to ensure patient compliance. Confirm patient
is taking each medication correctly and advise on potential side effects.

own stethoscope to monitor and record patients' blood pressure. Provide
informational flyers on hypertension and counsel based on the patients'
   blood pressure.
   - *Blood Glucose Testing and Diabetes Counseling:* assist patients in
blood glucose testing using testing strips and a glucometer (provided) and
record. Provide informational flyers on diabetes and counsel based on
patients' blood glucose. (priority to P2/P3s)

lipid panel testing (supplies provided) and record. Provide informational
flyers and counsel patients on cholesterol. (priority to P2/P3s)
