Good Morning Class,
Someone brought to my attention there was a question for our dual students, I do apologize for the oversight as I did not include your specific instruction on here.

Dual students will

  *   walk with only PA
  * carry both hoods but only be hooded with the PA hood and remain carrying the second hood across the stage
  * be listed in the program under both degrees
  * be announced with receiving both degrees as you are walking across stage
  * can take the class photo with both programs when we are all taking those photos before heading over to the convocation center

If there are any other questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.

A couple of other tips and tricks I’ve learned over the years that you can take advantage of:

  1. There is VERY limited wheelchair seating. If you have family who need this, I encourage you to arrive early so your loved ones can get these seats, they are first come first serve and saving is not easy.
  2. The class photo session is not traditionally the most organized activity. If everyone is there and in place first, we can perhaps be the first group to go and get in and out quickly. So if the arrival time is 1pm and we are all there at 12:50, we could possibly be done before the others are all present. 😊
  3. If you are in need of anything regalia related, the bookstore does have our PA regalia items in stock, I checked with Vanessa yesterday. If you go today and find out that she does NOT have PA now, LET ME KNOW as it’s possible I may have something to get you through the ceremony!
  4. There are golf carts that will be able to transport your guests from their cars to the doors of the building, just flag them down, there is also handicap parking, just make sure families have their placards visible.
  5. The doors open at 2pm tomorrow for families and it’s usually a madhouse of families getting in to get those front seats so if your family is one of those that want those front seats, I suggest they get there when doors open.

I know it’s a lot but just wanting to give you those last few tips and tricks.

Thank you,
