[Pa24] NCAPA OTP Update

Hello everyone,

As you all know, SB 345 did not make it through the senate last year. NCAPA
seems very optimistic about the progression of OTP-based law in NC in 2023.
This same bill is being "rebranded" in a way as HB 75 and SB 47.

*"HB 75 and its companion bill SB 47 are identical Optimal Team Practice
bills filed this year that include the language that was passed in 2022 but
didn't get the final vote it needed to become law last session."*

This being said, everything that was mentioned in our lunch and learn about
OTP still remains in the new bills.

*HB 75 is scheduled to be heard tomorrow 2/14 at 10am!* Stay tuned for any
