Dear Program Director/Admissions Coordinator,

We hope this email finds you well. We are a group of four physician assistant student veterans conducting an IRB approved research project titled "Actively Serving Student Attitude Toward PA School Barriers to Performance." We believe that understanding the experiences of student veterans during physician assistant school is crucial to improving the quality of education and ultimately the physician assistant profession.

As veterans ourselves, we understand the unique challenges and advantages that student veterans bring to the classroom. We would greatly appreciate your participation in our survey, which will help shed light on the positive and negative experiences that student veterans face during physician assistant school. Our goal is to identify potential barriers to performance and provide recommendations for how to better support student veterans throughout their education.

We are reaching out to over 250 physician assistant programs across the country in the hopes of collecting a diverse and representative sample of student veterans' experiences. We are confident that your program's participation will contribute greatly to the success of our research project. The research dates are March 3, 2023 - December 15, 2023.
