Hello everyone!

On behalf of the Wilderness Medicine Club, we would like to present Pie-a-Professor! This is a fundraiser for our club to help raise money for the CUSOM Wilderness Medicine Race happening on October 22, 2022 (watch out for an email later this week detailing the event).

What is Pie-a-Professor! you ask? Well, 11 of your lovely professors (and staff) at CUSOM have thoughtfully agreed to get pied in the face by one of their students and/or fellow staff.

This is how it works:

Each faculty member has picked a price point at which they decided they are willing to get a face full of whipped cream. If that price point is reached by the end of the fundraiser on Wednesday September 14th, then on Thursday September 15th at 12:30pm we will gather outside on the lawn by the lunch tables and announce the pie-er and pie-ee.

The minimum donation is $5 towards one professor. For each $5 donation, you receive one raffle ticket towards that professor. For example, if you just got Kuo’d on that last test, maybe you decide to donate $10 towards Dr. Kuo – this will enter you twice into the raffle to be the one to pie Dr. Kuo in the face. You can donate to any professor as many times as you would like.

And now for our contestants and their price points:

  *   Dr. Brenseke: $30
  *   Dr. Kuo     $100
  *   Dusty Barbour: $150
  *   Dr. Hon: $150 for 1 Pie, $200 for 2 Pies
  *   Dr. Green: $150 for 1 Pie, $200 for 2 Pies*
  *   Dr. Lowe-Clayton: $200
  *   Jennifer O’Dell: $200
  *   Dr. Luisha: $200
  *   Dr. Hinkelman: $222
  *   Dr. Bringhurst: $320
  *   Dr. Cappola: $500

*Dr. Green asked to bring his family and have his wife pie him in the face if the $200 is met (if his family is not available at that time and the $200 is met, we will raffle off the 2nd pie)

We encourage everyone to participate, including faculty and staff (this is your time to get back at someone if they took your parking spot last week).

We really appreciate all of your help in making the CUSOM Wilderness Medicine Race possible and look forward to the results! From the Wilderness Medicine Club, we all hope you have a great week!
