Hey!

I just wanted to forward an opportunity for the class to get some easy
community service hours. Dr. Wente (she gave our pharm lecture yesterday
morning) is asking for help in participating in a health fair April 30th
from 10am-2pm at North Carolina Central University and is looking for
volunteers. Feel free to sign up on the excel spreadsheet attached. Let me
know if you attend so I can add you to the document for your community
service hours.

Thank you for your responses about the NCCU Community Health Fair. Now that
we have established that there is indeed some interest and availability, a
Google Doc has been created to help facilitate sign ups. Please share this
with anyone that you think may be interested in participating. Hopefully we
will be able to gather enough folks to make a plan and I’ll be able to
email everyone by Tuesday the 26th with logistics. Meanwhile, please feel
free to contact me with any questions.

I am excited to be helping plan a community health fair at the university
on *April 30th from 10-2*. The health fair is open to the public, and we
are inviting members of the local community, schools, and businesses.  In
this fair, among other sections, we are creating awareness on health and
wellness.  We will be offering screenings, education, food, raffles, a
children’s section, pickleball, music, and much much more! We are
contacting you and would be delighted if you could participate in this
fair. Thank you for your help!
