[Lawjudicialclerkship] A few things to note, including OSCAR access date for 2Ls

Good afternoon Judicial Clerkship ListServ,

A few quick things to note.

  *   Applicants who will graduate in 2025 gain access to OSCAR, the federal judicial clerkship website, on January 8, 2024 at 8 am EST.
  *   The Judicial Clerkship Handbook on the Blackboard Law Careers page provides an overview of what a clerkship is, general timelines and requirements for application, and some of the opportunities you can prioritize as a law student if you want to clerk.  Additionally, there is an Appendix, also in the Judicial Clerkship folder, that contains timelines and other general hiring information for our state appellate courts.

  *   Always remember the Golden Rule of Judicial Clerkships: If a judge offers you a position, you must take it, so before applying for a clerkship, be sure you would accept a position if offered.
