The United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina has an immediate opening for a Judicial Law Clerk. This position provides legal research and writing assistance, prepares bench memos, drafts orders and opinions, communicates with counsel regarding case management and procedural requirements, and assists the Judge during courtroom proceedings. Judicial law clerks are also responsible for clerical/administrative duties.

This position is for one year with the possibility of extension (not to exceed four years) and is being advertised at the JSP 11 - 14. While this position is open until filled, applications that are received by the initial cut-off date of February 1, 2023, will be given first consideration.
