Hi all,

I'd like to share some info. on Maine Law's Summer Privacy Institute. This may be of interest to your students, particularly if (a) they just can't get enough privacy law in their lives, and (b) they would love to spend a few weeks in Maine in the summer (and who wouldn't). Additionally, one of our courses (International Data Transfers & Digital Trade Law) this year has a remote attendance option for students at other schools.

Maine Law is hosting our annual Summer Privacy Institute from May 20 - June 6, 2024<https://mainelaw.maine.edu/academics/clinics-and-centers/cli/summer-privacy-institute/>. Our course offerings this year are:

  * Global Privacy Law -- Prof. Gabe Maldoff (Goodwin)
  * International Data Transfers & Digital Trade Law -- Prof. Joe Jones (IAPP / former Deputy Director for International Data Transfers for the UK Gov't)
  * In-house Privacy Practice -- Prof. Rita Heimes (IAPP)
  * Privacy Justice Seminar -- Amanda Levendowski (Georgetown)
Please click the link above for more information.

Students currently enrolled at other ABA approved law schools who have completed their first year and are in good standing may request to enroll by completing a Non-Degree Student Registration Form<https://mainelaw.maine.edu/academics/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/request-enroll-non-degree-student.pdf>. We also require a letter from the Dean of their law school certifying that the applicant is in good standing and has completed or is in the process of completing their first year of law study.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you (or your students) have any questions.

Best,
Scott
