[Law24] Wishes of Success from Dr. Newsome

Hello Everyone,

I hope each of you are still relishing in having completed your degree, even as you begin to focus on the future (Bar studies and/or job hunting, starting families, buying homes, relocating, and etc).  I send the below poem to you as a final farewell from me (although you will have to reach out in the future for letters of verification and such).  Until next we chat, tootles!

This poem reflects my heart's desire for each of you (it is not one of my originals, author is unknown at this time).  Italicized text reflects my insertions:

Promise Me This

Promise me you'll always remember what a special person you are.
Promise me you'll hold on to your hopes and reach out for your stars.
Promise me you'll live with happiness over the years and over the miles.
Promise me that when you think of me, it will always [ok, usually] be with a smile.
Promise me you'll "remember when..." and you'll always "look forward to..."
Promise me you'll do the things you have always wanted to do.
Promise me you'll cherish your dreams as treasures you have kept.
Promise me you'll enjoy life day by day and step by step.
Promise me you'll always remember the wishes I have for you....and that is that your life will be fulfilling, successful as you define it, and one that you can look back on with many cherished memories.
