Bring your lunch to this session led by clinical faculty to learn more about various specialties and what you can start doing NOW as a first-year student to plan for your clinical training and residency!

Block 3 Advisor Meeting (mandatory attendance for all MS-1 students & faculty advisors)

Hear from a panel of faculty on tips for navigating Block 3 and opportunities for the upcoming summer (note: MANY deadlines occur in January so check out “Summer 2026 Opportunities” section below). You’ll also receive updates on available resources, upcoming events, and opportunities specifically for MS-1 students.

Question, Persuade, & Refer (QPR) Training (mandatory attendance for all MS-1 students)
Thursday, February 5, 11:00-11:50 a.m., Levine 201
Dr. Krepps will lead an evidence-based suicide prevention training to equip student doctors with the skills to respond to a crisis.

Anatomy LAB Drop-In Sessions with MS-2 Peer Learning Partners
Drop in the anatomy gross lab any or all of the dates in Block 2 for extra practice with support from MS-2 PLPs (look for the orange lab coats in the lab 😊):

  *   Friday, January 23, 1-2 p.m.
  *   Saturday, January 24, 1-3 p.m.

Weekly Student Drop-In Sessions Hosted by Peer Learning Partners (optional attendance, students only) in ACE Center—Levine 106
