Hi everyone!

We are excited to share that the Street Medicine Team is expanding and opening leadership opportunities for any first year medical student interested in serving our local community.

As you know, the Street Medicine team is a new and growing initiative, focused on meeting patients where they are and providing compassionate, nonjudgmental care while building trust within the community. As the program continues to develop, we are seeking motivated first-year students who are interested in stepping into leadership roles and helping shape the future of the team.

While the current leadership team will be transitioning off campus next year due to clinical rotations, we will remain actively involved during this transition period. Our goal is to provide guidance, mentorship, and continuity as new leaders step into their roles, ensuring a smooth and supported handoff.

Requirements: No prior experience is required. Students applying for leadership positions may not hold another leadership role within CUCCC. Leadership positions require a minimum GPA of 3.0. Leadership positions are only available to first year medical students.

If you are interested, please complete the interest form by: Monday, January 12th at 6 PM.
