Greetings, Class of 2028,

Congratulations on finishing Block 4 and the start of your summer!

Please note: you now have access to the Blackboard course: OMED 611 Clinical Applications of Biomedical Sciences I (CABS I)…aka…your first board prep course.  There you will find the following posted:

  *   Syllabus
  *   Syllabus Appendix with a suggested reading and study plan
     *   (Make sure to block off vacation time too and any other important life events & adjusting the schedule/plan as needed😊)
  *   Pharm Card Assignment List
  *   Slides from CABS I Presentation & recording

It is highly recommended that you carefully read through these materials and make your own plan for completing the CABS I course requirements by the due date: July 25, 2025 at 8:00 a.m.


  *   Summary of Key Requirements*:
     *   End of Block 4 CABS I Exam  Completed!
     *   TrueLearn/COMBANK - COMLEX Level 1 Questions: total of 800
        *   Ten 40-Question Quiz Sets (created & assigned to you)—completion only, no minimum score so just do your best
        *   On your own, 400 questions you choose (any mode)
           *   To earn full credit, you must earn 50% or higher overall.
           *   Once completed, take a snapshot & send it to MedEd to record your score.
           *   If you reach 400 additional questions and are not satisfied with your overall score, you can continue to do additional questions to raise this % score.
        *   Your actual total questions completed within TrueLearn needs to be 976 questions = 800 COMBANK Questions + 176-question Block 4 CABS I Exam.
     *   Start of Block 5 CABS I Exam—8:30 a.m. on July 25 in Levine 202
