[Cusom27] PLEASE READ: Simulation Medicine - Attendance Information

Good afternoon,

I hope you are all enjoying Simulation Medicine. Please be reminded that the entire course is required. All in-person and virtual sessions must be attended to receive credit for OMED 770 Simulation Medicine.

Most of your in-person sessions will have a sign-in sheet, if not, attendance will still be reported. Failure to sign-in on an available sign-in sheet will result in an unexcused absence.

Arriving to any session more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time will also result in an unexcused absence.

If you need to be absent, for any reason, you must contact Amanda Lee and Dusty Barbour prior to the start time of the session to receive approval.

Any unexcused absence may result in a referral to the APPS Committee and a failing grade for the Simulation Medicine rotation.

Should you have any questions about your schedule, please reach out to Amanda or Dusty. I have also attached the Simulation Medicine syllabus (also located on Blackboard), where many of your questions can likely be answered.
