Howdy Folks,
We’re excited to announce the first-ever CUCCC Diabetes and Health Fair will take place on Saturday, July 12th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (arrival at 9 am for set up) at 636 Whitfield Rd, Mount Olive, NC 28365 (Duplin Mobile Clinic Site). We will be carpooling from CUSOM.
This fun event will focus on diabetes awareness and prevention, along with general health education and screenings for our local community. It’s a great opportunity to serve, connect with patients, and gain valuable experience in a dynamic, team-based setting.
Services will include:
* Blood glucose checks and diabetes education
* General health screenings and consultations
* Vision screening and eyeglass fittings
* Pediatric education and activities
* OMM services
* Primary and urgent care triage
* Potential Dental screenings
Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
