[Cusom27] Internal Medicine Club: Upcoming Opportunities

Hi everyone,

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! On behalf of the Internal Medicine club, we are excited to share two upcoming opportunities:

1. On Monday, February 24th at 8am (right before our lectures for the day), we are hosting a MSK OSCE Workshop with Dr. Cappola in Lecture Hall 201 for the MS1s. As our Final OSCEs are quickly approaching, this workshop will provide you with an opportunity to practice the MSK special tests, receive live feedback from a faculty member, and ask any questions you may have. To help us make this workshop as successful as possible, please fill out this Google form<https://forms.gle/X7mNEZTRF4TmNF5w7> with any questions and/or suggestions.

2. The annual ACP Internal Medicine meeting will be taking place from April 4th-5th, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the field of Internal Medicine and its subspecialties, while also making connections with other medical students, physicians, and residency programs from around the country. There will be many seminars and learning opportunities that students will be able to participate in. To learn more about the meeting and its various events, you can visit the meeting website.<https://annualmeeting.acponline.org/> The registration fee for the meeting is $60 per person, which will be partially covered by the Internal Medicine Club. Depending on the level of interest, additional reimbursements for travel and/or hotel may be provided. For the MS1s, we understand the concern that the meeting is right before an exam/practical, but there is potentially an option to take the exams at a later date if you choose to do so. If you are interested in learning more about the event or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
