Hi all!

The Music and Art in Medicine Interest Group would like to invite you to TWO exciting virtual guest speaker events coming up! Dr. Yein Lee and Dr. Sajid Surve are professors at the University at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM). Both are board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.

Dr. Lee will be discussing "Music as Medicine" which is relevant to nearly any medical field. Dr. Surve will be talking about the Performing Arts Medicine Fellowship, which is a post-residency program that trains physicians to treat musicians, singers, dancers, and other artists who present with unique medical concerns and injuries.

These events will be especially insightful for students interested in PM&R, primary care, pediatrics, OMM, and music/art in general, but all are welcome. Please see details below for each event, and follow the survey links to RSVP and submit any questions for Dr. Lee or Dr. Surve to answer at the end of the sessions.
