I hope the block is going well! Congratulations on finishing your first exam of medical school. The surgery club (under the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons) is hosting Dr. Duncan Phillips via Zoom at 7PM ET on Tuesday 8/29 to provide information about the American College of Surgeons. This organization is a great resource for meeting local surgeons through our state chapter's annual meeting. Dr. Phillips is a pediatric surgeon at WakeMed and is happy to answer any questions about his career. If you have any interest in surgery please join us to learn more about this organization. You will receive more information during block two on how to formally join the surgery club.
