[Pt2027] Action Items - Upcoming Flu Vaccine Deadline / CPR Information

Greetings Cohort of 2027,

In preparation of onboarding requirements related to DPT 800 and the Department of Physical Therapy’s compliance standards, please review the following important information:

1. Annual Flu Vaccine Requirement

  *   Deadline: November 1, 2025
  *   Please complete your annual flu vaccine by this date.
  *   Upload proof of vaccination to Exxat > Compliance Portal > Flu (Influenza).
  *   List the expiration as one year from the date you received the vaccine.
  *   I have requested that Exxat enable the flu vaccine requirement. If you do not see the option available yet, it will be added soon.

2. CPR Training for Cohort of 2027

  *   Date: Friday, November 7, 2025
  *   Time: 12:45 PM – 5:00 PM
     *   Please meet me at 12:45 PM outside Lab 319 for check-in.
     *   Do not be late! The sooner the class begins, the sooner it will end 😊
  *   Location: Lab 319
  *   Cost: $45 (cash only; exact amount as no change will be provided)
  *   Attire: Lab attire is appropriate.
This CPR course will certify you for two years, covering DRPT 800, 802, and 804.
💡All students are required to attend this course on November 7.  However, if you already hold a valid American Heart Association BLS Provider certification (CPR and AED for Healthcare Providers), please see me so that I can verify that your certification is valid through at least May 1, 2026 (end of DRPT 800).

  *   Once completed, upload a copy of the front and back of your CPR card or your certificate to Exxat.
  *   Use the issue date as listed on the card/certificate.
  *   Enter the expiration date as two years from the issue date.

3. HIPAA Training

  *   Will be completed during a course in Spring 2026.
  *   Additional details will be provided at that time.
