Hey Everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful break and welcome back!

Attached is the August DEI infographic, which focuses on Advocacy in Physical Therapy. Advocacy is a powerful way to use our voices to support our patients, communities, and profession. By engaging in advocacy at both the state and federal levels, we help shape policies and reforms that expand access to care, promote equity, and strengthen our role as healthcare providers.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are at the heart of advocacy—ensuring that the needs of underrepresented and underserved populations are heard and addressed. As future and current physical therapists, our responsibility goes beyond clinical practice; it includes speaking up for those who may not have a voice and driving change that reflects our profession’s values of fairness, accessibility, and respect for all.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or if you’d like to get more involved in advocacy efforts.
