Good morning,
As we are monitoring the clinical education survey submissions, I want to make you aware that the table embedded in the email with information about each site (location, model of practice, practice setting, body system/lifespan specialization) is the only resource you should be using for that type of information. That is information provided to us directly from the site when they offer their slots. Additionally, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to be aware of this information.
For example:
Ivy Rehab - Back in Action (Apex) for DPT 802 is a PELVIC HEALTH EXPERIENCE.
Duke Cary Sports Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy for DPT 804 is a PELVIC HEALTH/ORTHO EXPERIENCE.
Any site where you enter your name is a site you could be selected for. It would be unfortunate to be selected for a setting as specific as pelvic health simply because you did not use or read the resource that was provided to you.
Additionally, multiple survey submissions due to mistakes require extra time and work for the clinical education team during a process where punctuality is extremely important.
As a reminder, pelvic health experiences require students to take either the APTA or Herman and Wallace Level 1 Course (approx. $700) before starting the experience.
**If you are now aware that your survey submission is incorrect because you did not use your resource appropriately or did not read it, please email the clinical education team (both Mrs. Shewmaker and me) immediately for further instructions.
Thank you,
Dr. Eubanks
