Classes of 2026 and 2027,

Thank you for being flexible with the course location switches today. I appreciate your ability to adapt and overcome the situation.

The AC seems to have been cut-off as a safety measure during a brief power surge/outage over the weekend. The issue has been addressed, and the AC is starting to catch up. As such, the temperature in Smith Hall may be slightly higher than normal but should return to regular levels shortly.

I'm not sure of the timing of the AC problem but it might have happened Saturday evening. If you happen to be in the building on the weekend and notice an issue (e.g. the AC is not working) please email me and Ms. Ennis with details on the problem. We can start working on the problem with our facilities maintenance department to resolve things as soon as possible.
