Dear Students,
I am writing to inform you that Dr. Bridget Eubanks has resigned her position with the Department of Physical Therapy. We are grateful for her contributions to our program and to your professional development as students. She has served Campbell DPT students for over 6 years in the classroom, in clinical experiences, and in the community. Her contributions to the program have also extended beyond those typically seen by students including her service on the Curriculum Committee, Academic Performance & Standards Committee, and Admissions Committee among others. I appreciate her dedication to each of your development into the amazing DPTs you are becoming.
Dr. Eubanks will be greatly missed by all of us in the department, but we wish her the very best as she pursues new challenges to push our profession forward. Please join me in thanking Dr. Eubanks for her service.
To ensure continuity in clinical education, I am pleased to share that Dr. Lori Leineke will serve as Interim Director of Clinical Education, effective immediately. Dr. Leineke brings a wealth of experience and dedication to student success within the classroom and clinic that will ensure the ongoing quality of our clinical education program.
We understand that changes of this nature can raise questions, particularly as they relate to clinical placements and progression. Please know that maintaining stability in your clinical education experiences is our highest priority. Dr. Leineke, Mrs. Shewmaker, and the faculty are committed to providing you with timely communication and support as we move forward.
If you have immediate concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly.
Dr. Myers
