[Pt2026] EmpowerU Update

Hello everyone!

I hope you all are doing well! I am reaching out with updates regarding the
EmpowerU program I emailed about last month. I apologize for the delay but
I finally have more information to share.
First it is not too late to sign up to be a mentor! As a mentor not only
will you be paired with an undergraduate student interested in pursuing
physical therapy, I just found out you will also be paired with a Campbell
DPT Alumni! If you are interested, I encourage you to apply below!

The first meeting for undergraduate students will be *Tuesday October 1st
from 4-5 pm* in the Student Union Theater. It is not required to attend but
this meeting is open to those who have signed up to be a mentor or those
who may be interested.
The Mocktail Social is tentatively scheduled for *October 16 from 6-8 pm*
in the Student Union Ballroom. We are currently awaiting approval for use
of this space but I will let you know as soon as it is confirmed. This will
be a great opportunity for you to meet potential mentees as well as
other students in the CPHS and CUSOM programs. If you have any questions
about EmpowerU or future events please reach out to me and I would be happy
to answer them!
