[Pt2026] Pediatrics SIG Lunch and Learn

Hello!

I'm reaching out to remind you all that the pediatrics SIG board is having
a lunch and learn on Friday, September 20 from 11:00 to 11:30am in room
308. We also have a zoom link for those who are not able to join in person.
Please see the zoom link below to join remotely! We are very excited to be
welcoming a guest speaker, Erin Champion, CCLS- Certified Life Specialist
at Inova Children's Hospital in Washington, DC. She will be on call to
briefly describe her position in a child's medical team, her interactions
with an inpatient peds PT, and answer any questions. Please plan to join us
for this unique learning experience. We will also be discussing some events
and volunteer experiences we are planning for the rest of the semester.

Also, there is a walk coming up Saturday, September 28 in Angier.
Registration is FREE, but all donations go towards spina bifida awareness,
as October is spina bifida awareness month. If you are interested in
attending, please find the link to register below. Here are the details for
the event:
When: Saturday, September 28th
Time: Arrive at 10am and the 1 mile walk will start at 10:30 followed by a
family fun festival at 11
Where: Jack Marley Park (145 East Williams St. Angier, NC 27501)
