All,
Please be sure you are filling out ALL questions on the graduation application. Every question is asked for a reason. Students are leaving out their undergraduate degrees and school. This information is printed in the program at graduation. Please make sure to answer all questions. You will be contacted by the dean's office to answer the questions that you are not answering, please respond immediately to them if you do receive an email.
Also- The graduation will be held in the Convocation Center/Gore Arena. This normally starts at 10am with an 8am student arrival. But these details have not been released yet by the registrar's office.
Again, at this time there are no tickets needed for graduation.

Campbell University December 2025 Graduation Application Cycle is now OPEN.
Good afternoon,
Campbell University December 2025 Graduation Application Cycle is now OPEN. Receipt of this email does not necessarily mean a student is eligible for December 2025 graduation. This email is for notification and informational purposes only.
The December 2025 Graduation Date & Commencement Ceremony will be on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Once any additional final details of the December Ceremony are solidified, we will post them to the website and email them to the students who have applied.
All official communication from our office will go to your official Campbell University issued email address. If you have not set this up or do not have it forwarded to the email account you check regularly, please contact the IT Services Help Desk<https://www.campbell.edu/information-technology-services/it-service-desk/> for how-to instructions.
The Application for Graduation Starts the Process:
The initial deadline to apply is October 6, 2025. All students who plan to graduate in December, to receive a diploma, must submit a graduation application regardless of participation in the ceremony. We must have an application on file for every candidate who plans to graduate on December 13, 2025.
How to Apply:
The application process is completely online for all applicants. For the application form you will need the following:
* Campbell University Issued Student ID
* Degree you are pursuing
* Major you are pursuing
* Home Campus Location
* Contact information you can be reached at including phone, email, and mailing address

** Please note if you were previously approved to participate for any ceremony under the '6-Hour Rule', you must reapply to be considered for official graduation in December**
The "Six-hour" Rule:
For undergraduate students: Special consideration to participate in the graduation ceremony is extended to candidates with grade point averages of 2.000 or higher in the major and overall GPA and who are within six (6) semester hours of meeting all course and hour requirements. To qualify for this special consideration, candidates must complete a graduation application first and then file a 'Request to Participate in Commencement' form in addition to the Graduation Application. Before the Registrar's Office can execute this form, it must be signed by the candidate, the candidate's adviser, and the appropriate dean. The form also includes information about the candidate's plan to complete the missing components.
At this time graduation will be a non-ticket event
DPT Specific:
DPT Program Wrap-Up- Thursday, December 11th 8am-3pm, Smith Hall (Times could change) More information to follow.
* 8am- Hood collection- Smith Hall Lobby
DPT Convocation - Friday, December 12th 10am, Hobson Performance Center, D. Rich Hall- Non ticked event.
* Only Robes will be worn for this ceremony, professional dress to be worn underneath.
* Hoods will be given to you
* Instructions for the day and details to be shared with family will be forthcoming.
Dates to mark your calendars:
* September 17: The December 2025 graduation application cycle opens by 5pm.
* October 6: Initial application deadline, all applications after this date will be considered LATE.
* October 27-28: Bookstore Grad Fair. Monday, October 27 from 10am-4pm and Tuesday, October 28 from 1pm-6pm. For more information please see the CU Bookstore on Facebook<https://www.facebook.com/campbellbookstore> or Instagram<https://www.instagram.com/campbellbookstore/>.
* November 14: FINAL deadline to apply by noon to be eligible for December Graduation regardless of participation in the ceremony.
* November 24: All external transcripts for transfer credit, any degree applicable paperwork, course substitution forms, waivers etc. must be submitted to the Registrar's Office by this date for processing.
* December 11: Program Wrap-Up-Onsite (Smith Hall) 8am-3pm approximately for program related items.- More details to come.
* December 12: DPT Convocation Ceremony 10am- More details to come.
* December 13: December graduation and ceremony. August graduates who have not participated previously in a ceremony will be invited to participate in the December 2025 ceremony. Any student with a Bursar's Office hold will not be allowed to participate. Please contact the Bursar's Office to resolve any holds on your account.
* December 17: Final transcripts with degrees will be ready via Campbell University's Parchment website. Transcripts ordered before this date have no guarantee of showing final degree status.
