Hello CPHS Students,
Thank you for attending the IPE event yesterday. We appreciate your engagement in such an important discussion. As a follow-up, we want to share a message from CUSOM’s Behavioral Health Department, along with a video resource they provided.

Message from Behavioral Health:
"Hello everyone, the following is a message from CUSOM’s Behavioral Health Department. During the IPE event, you heard a deeply moving and potentially triggering presentation from an individual who tragically lost their child. It is completely normal to have strong emotional reactions to such stories. As health professionals, we often face challenging and emotional situations. It is important to acknowledge these feelings and understand that they are a natural part of our work.
We encourage you to utilize the resources available to you. Whether it’s talking to a colleague, seeking support from a therapist, or using wellness programs, taking care of your mental health is crucial. You can reach out to the Behavioral Health Department at any time by emailing CUSOMBH at campbell.edu. They offer free, confidential, unlimited sessions to all students. You also have access to the Student Assistance Program MYgroup, which is available 24/7/365 for immediate care, consultation, resources, and additional therapy options at mygroup.com<https://mygroup.com>.
Remember, taking care of your mental health is not just beneficial for you, but also for the patients you care for. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to your profession. Please take care of yourselves and don’t hesitate to reach out for support when you need it."
If you have any questions or need further support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Best,
Kenley E. Byrd
