[pt2025] Calling for volunteers - CPHS Interprofessional Service Day DPT representative

Happy end of finals week,

I am reaching out to see who would be interested in representing DPT on a working/planning group to chart the direction of the First Annual CPHS Service Day to be held in September this year. The Service Day will be an initiative that students across all programs (our DPT1 and DPT2 cohorts) will participate in this fall. The intent is to have meaningful service opportunities that can make a measurable difference in the lives of our communities.

What am I asking for?
DPT needs to have a seat at the table to join student representatives from other CPHS programs, faculty, and staff in identifying and selecting the initiatives that will be our targets for service in this event. The representative will work with the other representatives in the planning stages (usually via Zoom) over the summer and fall. This shouldn't be a large amount of work on the individual but will help ensure that our students' perspective is heard.
