Good afternoon,

We have not received any submissions for this clinical experience, so I thought I would email one more time to try to incentivize anyone who might be considering this experience.

This is a FANTASTIC site with the potential for a ton of variety in clinical experiences. If you are interested in working with active duty, athletes, military populations, or even as a civilian in the military after graduation, we highly recommend you consider this site.

We realize it's out of state, but military clinical experiences tend to have great housing options available to students due to the nature of the military setting.

Please email us if you are interested or even if you have questions. Have a great day!

Subject: First Come, First Serve Clinical Experience for 802 or 804

Good afternoon,

As you all know, our slot solicitation for clinical experiences was sent out on March 1. We are receiving slot offerings from clinical partners every day and some of those slot offerings are held specifically for Cambell DPT students while others are made available to several programs on a "first come, first serve" basis. What that means for us is that when those "first come first serve" slots are made available to us, we want to make students aware of them as quickly as possible so you can put your name in for that slot and we have the opportunity to secure it over other programs.

This is one of those times. Please see the below information for clinical experiences that were made available to us:

DPT 802 - 2 students
DPT 804 - 1 student

Location: Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi.

>From the site, about the experience: Combined inpatient/outpatient experience on base. Outpatient population is 100% active duty military patients. Ideal candidate is someone possibly interested in joining the miliary after graduation or working for a military installation.

If you are interested in putting your name in for this experience for DPT 802 or DPT 804, please respond to this email AND copy Dr. Buzzell and Mrs. Shewmaker. Response is required by 8pm tomorrow, March 21, 2024. Make sure to designate whether you are putting your name in for 802, 804, or both (you would not complete both 802 and 804 at this site, but putting your name in for both experiences increases your chances of being selected. If more than 3 students put in for these slots, a random draw will be conducted.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you,
The Clin Ed Team
