Good Afternoon!

It is an exciting time in DPT admissions with the new application cycle to begin in June 2024. This being said CPHS expects to host many prospective student events and would appreciate a strong presence from current students. There is much to celebrate about the DPT program and students are a large part of that!

I am reaching out today to let you know that we are now accepting applications for CPHS Student Ambassadors for the DPT program.

The goal of the CPHS Student Ambassador program is to represent CPHS programs in a professional and friendly manner to prospective students. There are a variety of ways that Student Ambassadors can assist with this goal. In the DPT program, Student Ambassadors will often assist with campus tours, informational sessions offering the student perspective, sending out communications via email and/or texts, and assisting with virtual and in-person CPHS events.

As you consider applying, please know that this is a visible leadership role with a time commitment. It is the expectation that students serving in this role embrace the responsibility and exhibit a consistent level of professionalism and solid academic standing.

Applications are due by midnight Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

My hope is to review the applications with faculty and provide a follow-up to student ambassador applicants by the end of November. Final decisions will be based on the end-of-semester grades and anticipated notification in January 2025.

*The role of Student Ambassador is different than the student mentoring assignments for incoming students. I apologize the mentoring assignments have not been sent out yet, but hope to do so soon.
