Subject: Foursquare and Professional Responsibility

Good morning,

Unfortunately, I bring news that will not be welcome on this Friday morning. From this point forward, foursquare will no longer be allowed in the building. While I appreciate the community building that this has provided our program between and within cohorts, we have to consider the cost.

Our DPT program is designed to facilitate the growth of physical therapists who are passionate about what they do and display the characteristics of a professional healthcare provider. We are blessed to have a wonderful facility. We need to demonstrate our professional responsibility by taking care of this resource. On several occasions in the last two weeks (and previous semesters) room 319 has been left in an unacceptable state with ceiling tiles broken and dislodged. This is not representative of professional level stewardship of our facility and resources - hence the prohibition of foursquare.

I encourage you to find another opportunity for community building and movement throughout the day. If you have questions feel free to work through your class representatives.

Dr. Myers
