I previously reached out regarding an online survey designed to gather information about the Student-CI relationship during a DPT students’ most recently completed full-time clinical education experience. The survey will close in two weeks. Attached below is the original email, recruitment materials, and survey link.

Hello,

My name is Sarah Dorsey, and I am a student in the DPT program at Nazareth University. My fellow colleagues and I are conducting a research study about the CI-student relationship during a DPT student’s most recent full-time CE experience. We are reaching out to Directors of Clinical Education and Site Coordinators of Clinical Education across the country, and we would greatly appreciate it if you would please forward this information to all students who have completed at least one clinical education experience of at least 6 weeks in length.

Participation in this survey is optional, and all answers will be confidential and anonymous. All responses will be stored on a password-protected computer. The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and will be open from April 22nd, 2024, to October 8th, 2024.

Our goal is to have as many students who have completed at least one full-time clinical education experience complete this survey to gather information regarding their relationship with their clinical instructor and any impact that has had on their overall clinical education experience. With this information, we hope to gain a better understanding of the factors that contribute to a student-CI relationship that impacts their overall experience and use this information to educate clinical instructors, students, and sites to make a better experience for all stakeholders.
