Sammy Chakir, PT, DPT, MS

Graduated from the University of Delaware in 2023. Sammy is currently one of the orthopedic residents at UNC. Clinically, he has an interest in lower extremity injuries, but enjoys instilling confidence in all of his patients when it comes to movement and helping patients realize what their body is capable of.

Evan Bockover, PT, DPT

Graduated from Indiana State University in 2023. Evan is currently one of the orthopedic physical therapy residents at UNC. Clinically, he has an interest in the utility, reliability, and validity of clinical outcome measures, especially for return to sport to minimize risks of reinjuries. Also, he has an interest in the treatment of patients with chronic pain from a psychosocial aspect to provide holistic treatment.
